Ten Strings And A Goat Skin is excited to announce the release of their latest video featuring the song, “The Night They Moved The House”, a track from TSAAGS’s 2013 album, Corbeau. The song was co-written by group member Rowen Gallant and the album’s producer Lennie Gallant and inspired by factual incidents from early Gallant family history.

The video, produced by Jon Burke of Jon Burke Design, Halifax, was filmed wharf side at Rustico Harbour, a site close to the historic location of the song’s subject. Please check it out on our YouTube Channel

Their song and album continues to receive serious attention gaining 2014 award nominations from the East Coast Music Association, the Canadian Folk Music Association and Music PEI. Since the launch of Corbeau the band has received great reviews and radio play both at home and internationally and invitations to many new festivals, music conferences and venues.

Summer 2014 will be busy for TSAAGS as they make there way to Summerfest Milwaukee, the worlds biggest music festival, the Philadelphia Folk Festival, the Rhythm and Roots Festival in Rhode Island, New World Music Festival, Vermont, Canada Day 2014 Celebrations in Charlottetown, Congres Mondiale’s world gathering in NB, in addition to many other great festivals and venues in North America and Europe. In addition to the live performances, the band will be featured over a 5 night period beside renowned international artist in a stadium concert series at the Festival Interceletique de L’orient in Brittany, France. This special event, a highlight of the L’orient festival, attracting over 700,000 visitors, will be televised to over 3 million viewers. An Ontario television series with TV5, highlighting French touring musicians will feature Ten Strings And A Goat Skin in its upcoming season.
